We are proud to announce that Veronica Ramirez, P.E., RSP1, Project Manager and Auburn-Opelika Office Lead, has been selected as one of the 2025 Young Leaders to Follow by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE)! The 2025 Young Leaders to Follow class is comprised of 20 transportation professionals under 35-years-old who have demonstrated leadership and innovation within the transportation industry and ITE.
As part of our strategic growth, Sain opened the Auburn-Opelika Office, and Veronica was selected as team lead. She brought with her valuable experience from her work with Snyder & Associates in Iowa and from the Alabama Transportation Assistance Program (ATAP) at Auburn University.

With a strong background in traffic and safety engineering, she has quickly become a trusted resource for clients and partners. She is known for her problem-solving solutions and has built a vast network in the East Alabama region.
Proven Leader
In addition to her role at Sain, Veronica plays an active leadership role in the broader engineering community. She currently serves as President of the ITE Alabama Section and previously held the role of President of the Montgomery Branch of ASCE. She is also a dedicated member of the ITE Southern District’s Member Services Younger Members Committee, supporting the advancement of professionals across the Southeast.
In addition to this recognition in 2022, Veronica was recognized with the Outstanding Younger Member Award by ITE Alabama, which further underscores her professional commitment and influence.
