We are hiring a Traffic Engineer in our Birmingham office. On a typical day in this role, you might be designing a new traffic signal, retiming an existing traffic signal system, conducting a traffic impact study, or developing a deployment plan for field devices on an ITS project.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Experience with signal design and timing
- Experience with ITS planning/design
- Experience with traffic impact studies
- Experience with traffic operations and conceptual geometric design
- CADD experience, preferably Microstation
- Experience with capacity analysis software
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills with English proficiency
- Project management experience is a plus
- PE licensure is preferred
- Experience with Synchro and/or PTV Vissim
