We are thrilled to announce Alicia Bailey, P.E. as the newest shareholder at Sain Associates!
Alicia, now Principal/Owner, previously served as Team Leader for transportation design, construction inspection, and environmental planning projects. She has twenty years of engineering experience with specialties in roadway and drainage design, construction administration, and bicycle, pedestrian, and ADA design.
Alicia has been with Sain since 2001. Her leadership has aided tremendously in the growth of Sain’s infrastructure practice, along with excellence in client service.
In 2018, Alicia was awarded the peer-nominated, “Spirit of Lauren Award,” an annual company recognition honoring those associates who exemplify strong character, kindness, and integrity not only as an associate of the firm, but as an engineering professional as well.
Alicia makes a difference in the community through her leadership and volunteer work. Alicia mentors Inverness Elementary School students and shares anything from math tips to engineering challenges on projects, and teamwork. She also works with high school students across Birmingham through the “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” event. Alicia spearheads the annual event and drives engagement from partnering organizations and attendees.
Alicia and her husband Clay live in Hoover with their children. When Alicia is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and walking outdoors.
