Alicia Bailey, P.E. – Career journey from entry-level to Senior Principal
Alicia joined Sain Associates in 2001 as an entry-level engineer. Through dedication and continuous learning, she mastered roadway design and quickly became an integral part of our Infrastructure team. Her expertise expanded to include roadway and drainage design, construction administration, and coordination on projects for the Alabama Department of Transportation and various municipalities. Today, Alicia serves as the Practice Leader for our Infrastructure and Survey teams and is a Senior Principal at Sain. She also leads our participation in “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day,” encouraging young women to pursue careers in engineering.
Jeff Stephenson, P.E., PTOE – Advancing to Principal Shareholder
Jeff Stephenson’s career journey at Sain began in 1998. Over the years, he has led Sain’s traffic engineering and transportation planning staff and has completed numerous traffic studies, interchange studies, safety evaluations, and advance planning projects for both public and private sector clients. In 2021, Jeff became an Associate Shareholder, and in 2024, he was promoted to Principal Shareholder. His leadership has expanded our practice area and demonstrated his commitment to growth within the company.
Erin Curry, P.E., RSP – Career development through leadership and service
Erin Curry joined Sain in 2003 as an entry-level engineer and has grown into one of our lead safety professionals. Today, she serves as a Senior Project manager and actively collaborates with TDOT’s Strategic Transportation Investments Division and Freight and Logistics Division. She actively participates in industry organizations, mentors younger team members, and holds various services roles in her community. Her journey shows how Sain provides a pathway for employees to grow both professionally and personally.
Commitment to Professional Development
