Jim Meads, P.E.

Jim has over 38 years of transportation engineering experience throughout Alabama and the Eastern United States for various public and private sector projects. In addition to serving as President/CEO, he also serves as Corporate Ethics Officer and Chief Engineer. He is a registered Professional Engineer in 23 states. 

Jim obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is active in a number of professional organizations, including serving as Past President of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Alabama, Past President of the Southern District Institute of Transportation Engineers, and a member of the State Transportation Innovation Council for Alabama. Jim is also a co-editor of the Alabama Department of Transportation Access Management Manual. 

Hobbies: Fishing, gardening, and watching football with my family. 

Favorite Memory: Spending time with Tucker and Bennett, my twin grandsons.
