Jasper, AL
CLIENT: Jasper Industrial Development Board
FUNDING: SEEDS and Growing Alabama
Sain Associates supported the Jasper Industrial Development Board (JIDB) in advancing the Whitehouse Road Prepared Site through Alabama’s SEEDS and Growing Alabama programs. The project focuses on transforming a 94-acre industrial property into a development-ready site through strategic planning, engineering, site preparation, and infrastructure improvements designed to attract future industrial investment.
In 2024, the JIDB was awarded a $1,001,000 SEEDS Site Development Grant to perform heavy site development activities, including land clearing, rock removal, expansion of an existing graded pad, and construction of a master stormwater detention facility.
The JIDB secured an additional $85,743 SEEDS Site Assessment Grant in 2025. This grant supported the completion of surveying, geotechnical testing, environmental studies, and master planning for a 65-acre parcel along Whitehouse Road located between the Yorozu Automotive and Heiche U.S. Surface Technologies facilities. Sain Associates assisted with these efforts and preparation of the site master plan.
Building on the success of the SEEDS grants, the JIDB secured $949,150 in Growing Alabama funds to advance mass grading and drainage infrastructure improvements as part of the 2025 funding cycle. Construction was bid in early 2026, and work began in April 2026.
