CLIENT: City of Helena

Sain Associates was contacted by the City of Helena to provide a boundary and topographic survey of the local amphitheater. Buck Creek is a plot of land located amongst the Helena Amphitheater Park in Helena’s Old Town district. The park hosts various events throughout the year, including outdoor concerts, festivals, and movies. Buck Creek also serves as a community nature park.
The purpose of the survey was to map out the existing conditions within a portion of the park and establish boundary lines for a part of the park and some adjacent properties. The end goal was to have a map showing the existing property boundaries, elevations, and features of the amphitheater. Sain partnered with the City of Helena’s Engineer, Gresham Smith, on this project in the fall of 2022.
During the survey, Sain discovered that some of the property had unknown ownership. We coordinated with Gresham Smith and the City of Helena to resolve the issue and completed the project in a timely manner.
