Sain Associates provided survey and design services for the replacement of the existing CR-55 bridge over Norfolk Southern Railway in the Town of Sterrett, Alabama. The new bridge was constructed approximately 300 feet northwest of the existing bridge location and included roadway approach improvements to support the new crossing.
The project scope included topographic and right-of-way survey, roadway contract plans, environmental clearance documentation, and preparation of right-of-way maps, tract sketches, and deeds based on the survey and design plans. The project also included coordination with Norfolk Southern Railway related to the bridge crossing. The project included approximately 0.25 miles of roadway improvements.
