Wares Ferry Road Resurfacing

Montgomery, AL

CLIENT: City of Montgomery

PARTNER: ALDOT

Sain Associates provided Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the resurfacing of Wares Ferry Road in Montgomery, Alabama. Partnering with the City and ALDOT, the project consisted of 2.3 miles of Mill & Overlay from Eastern Boulevard to the Froggy Bottom Bridge. The Wares Ferry Road project was locally let through the City of Montgomery and served as a major street resurfacing project that improved the infrastructure along a major roadway within the City.

In addition to the Mill & Overlay, this project also included other significant items of work. Sain assisted the City with the installation of new signals at four intersections: Wares Ferry at Eastern Boulevard, Twain Curve, Dubarton Road, and Burbank Drive. Sidewalks and curb ramps not meeting compliance standards were replaced, and sections of the guardrails were removed or replaced along the roadway.

Sain is proud to have partnered with the City of Montgomery and ALDOT to complete this important infrastructure project. The newly resurfaced roadway and other infrastructure improvements will better serve the local community and small businesses along this important route in Montgomery.
