At Sain, we put great emphasis on employee well-being and work-life balance. “Swellness” is our employee wellness program that promotes a healthy lifestyle and encourages some friendly competition in our office! This year’s Swellness Program introduced a wider range of engaging activities and incentives. The program took on a fresh approach by incorporating a Bingo Tracker as a fun way to gamify the wellness experience.
Participants were provided with a Bingo card featuring a variety of health-focused activities. By engaging in these activities and marking them off on the Bingo card, employees could achieve BINGOs and earn cashback rewards. This approach not only fostered a competitive spirit in the office but also motivated individuals to explore different aspects of wellness.
Some Notable Activities Included:
- Mindful March: March brought a focus on mental health and mindfulness. Participants engaged in activities that encouraged meditation, stress-relief techniques, and mindfulness practices, contributing to a healthier mindset and emotional well-being.
- April Activity Challenge: This challenge energized participants to complete a short fitness routine with modifications to meet their fitness needs. We were encouraged to embrace diverse exercises and be physically active throughout the month.
- Walktober: A beloved annual challenge at Sain, Walktober encourages group bonding and enthusiastic participation in walking challenges, which enhances our daily step count and overall fitness.
- Visiting Lunch & Learn Speakers: Sain organized informative sessions featuring health professionals and wellness experts. These lunchtime events provided valuable insights, tips, and advice on different aspects of well-being.
- Self-led Challenges: These challenges allowed individuals to set their own wellness goals. Whether it was maintaining a balanced diet, regular hydration, or achieving a set number of hours of quality sleep, employees were empowered to tailor their health journeys according to their preferences.
The “Swellness” program at Sain encourages a holistic approach to well-being, acknowledging the interconnectedness of different facets of health. Incorporating the Bingo Tracker was a great way to spur enthusiasm and a sense of camaraderie amongst employees as they cheered each other on in achieving their wellness goals.
As the 2023 Swellness program ends, the success stories and positive participant feedback underscored the program’s impact on fostering a healthier and happier work environment at Sain. Looking ahead to 2024, we hope that Swellness remains a cornerstone of Sain’s values, empowering individuals to embrace a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.
