2200 Magnolia Avenue South

Sain Associates provided civil engineering design, permitting, and construction administration services for a redeveloped historic building located at 22nd Street South and Magnolia Avenue South in Birmingham, Alabama. The 1920s-era warehouse had been vacant for some time but was developed into unique office spaces using a nearly $1.67 million allocation from the Alabama Historic Renovation Tax Credit program.

Williams Blackstock Architects provided the architectural services for the renovation of the 29,000 square foot building and a 6,500 square foot pad ready site with 199 parking spaces on a 2.8 acre parcel. Our scope of work included land surveying, subdivision platting, and design of all civil components, including: layout plans, demolition plans, grading and storm drainage plans, utility plans, erosion and sedimentation control plans, civil details, site work specifications, landscape and irrigation, and site lighting.
