Jeremy Greer recently returned to Sain Associates where he began his traffic engineering career in 2004. He is a registered Professional Engineer and serves as an Assistant Project Manager, meaning his days consist of keeping assigned projects within budget and on schedule for completion, submission, and approval. Jeremy loves the team atmosphere at Sain, “Having the ability to collaborate with other professionals with differing points of view helps you grow professionally and personally.”
Jeremy also enjoys being able to work on a variety of projects from an equally diverse client base.
We asked Jeremy a few more questions to get to know him better…
Q: Who’s your biggest role model?
A: I don’t consider people ‘role models’ in the same way other people do. But one of the people I most respect is my mother-in-law, Debbie Johnson. In 2001, her 17-year-old son had an accident while hiking and passed away. Since then, outside of her ‘real’ job with a major bank, she has become a grief counselor and volunteers to help others dealing with similar catastrophic life events. As a father myself, I can’t imagine that experience. But words can’t describe how much respect I have for her and her God-given ability to help others through her experience. That experience also gives her a unique ability to help prioritize life’s more minor surprises and put them in perspective.
Q: What are three words that describe you?
A: Inquisitive. Thoughtful. Perfectionist (often the bad kind…I’m still searching for the perfectly worded birthday card, but the party started an hour ago!).
Q: What’s something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
A: I got on stage and flat devastated a watermelon with Gallagher’s sledgehammer, soaked a few rows of people, all as Gallagher stood beside me, smiling and nodding in approval (I realize a lot of you won’t get this reference)!
Q: Tell us about your family, pets, and hobbies.
A: My only hobbies involve my lovely wife, Nicole, and our daughters Chandler (15) who loves theatre and acting, and Mary Katherine (11) and her Cheernastics team. There isn’t much time left after that!
Thank you, Jeremy, for everything you do for Sain! We are thankful you are a part of our team!
