Diane Hammonds, the Branch Manager for Sain’s Louisiana [...]
David Russell is our “most Yankee” transplant here at Sain. Originally from Long Island, New York, David moved to Alabama in 1992 and began working for Sain in August of that year. David is a CADD Designer in our Survey Department and is one of those guys that truly enjoys what he does. Prior to coming to Sain he designed houses for an architecture firm up in New York.
One thing you must know about David is his passion for all things scary! He has been involved in designing some very well-known haunted houses for over 25 years including Birmingham Jaycees, Slain Manor, Atrox Factory, and Warehouse 31 in Pelham where he continues to be involved.
David and his wife Suzi have been married for five years and reside in Pelham where he previously chaired the Pelham Beautification Board before being appointed by the mayor to the Planning Commission.
David says what he likes most about working at Sain is the people. “The people make it an enjoyable workplace.” David contributes much to that atmosphere with his upbeat personality. You can always count on David to find the humor in any situation. Last year he battled life-threatening complications from familial polyposis and now claims he has just 4 of 9 lives left.
This year we celebrate David’s 25 years at Sain! He is a tremendous asset to our company both professionally and personally. Happy 25th Sain-iversary, David!
