As engineers who work in the traffic and transportation sector, we are very involved in the roadway construction process. Because it affects us all, people are not shy about asking questions related to the inconvenience of the road construction process.
Construction, Engineering and Inspection (CE&I) is an area that we are doing more and more work in. To ensure that we’re providing the absolute best services in CE&I, we have recently focused on expanding our staff to add even more expertise. Project Manager, Matt Stoops, and Inspector/Designer, Shawn Calhoun, joined Sain this summer.
If you visited the Birmingham Zoo or Birmingham Botanical Gardens this summer, you likely noticed that improvements are underway on Cahaba Road. Sain Associates is currently providing Construction, Engineering and Inspection (CE&I) services for the owner of the project, the City of Birmingham. This project was funded by the City of Birmingham and a federal grant.
