Mark Randall, a project engineer in our Pulaski, [...]
Sain is growing! We’ve got two incredible new hires on our team, and we couldn’t wait to share the news! Check out their bios below for an update on the newest faces at Sain:
Calvin, a native of Ardmore, Alabama, joins the Sain Pulaski, TN office as an Engineering Designer. Calvin recently completed a dual degree in applied math at Oakwood University and Civil Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), and has attained his EI certificate with hopes to one day earn his PE. He describes himself as being “missionary-minded” and has restarted the Engineers Without Borders chapter at UAH to promote engineering in under-served areas around the world.
Calvin says that his favorite activity at Sain thus far has been working on the Madison County Horizontal Curve project because it gives him the chance to add input on roads that he’s familiar with. Additionally, he says that he likes how Sain takes time to make meaningful connections with the communities they serve.
Welcome to the Sain family, Calvin!
Ryan is officially re-joining the Sain team as a Civil Site Designer! We were so fortunate to have had Ryan on our team last summer as an Engineering Intern where she was able to cycle through some of our departments. A recent graduate of the University of Alabama, Ryan says that she’s able to draw on those experiences from her internship now to help her in her new role.
Ryan says that she really enjoys the problem-solving aspects of design work and the challenge of balancing what are often several conflicting needs. At the end of the day, she says it’s nice to feel like her work contributes in a meaningful way to her community and its needs. A native of Birmingham, Ryan enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Bella.
We’re so happy to have Ryan back on the team!
