Mark Randall, a project engineer in our Pulaski, [...]
Originally from Birmingham, Kyle graduated from the University of Alabama with his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 2013. He was originally interested in engineering because he excelled in math and science. When he learned more about civil engineering, specifically, he saw the chance to make a difference since many of the projects he’ll have the opportunity to work on are vital parts of society –roads, bridges, buildings, utilities, etc. Kyle’s father and grandfather were also in the engineering field and provided encouragement for Kyle’s interest in the field.
After working and gaining valuable experience in municipal and civil engineering at another firm in Nashville, Tennessee, he returned home to fill our position for a Civil Site Designer.
Training and working with the Site Engineering team, Kyle has quickly jumped into various projects. He says one-on-one training has been very helpful, and he likes that his duties are very clear and instructions are straightforward. He says he uses the principles and basic theories he learned in college every day, but he’s enjoying learning how to investigate and solve problems while working on real-world projects. Hopefully this valuable experience will help him in reaching his goal to earn his master’s degree in the next few years.
Kyle enjoys golfing and has already had the chance to play a game with his Sain co-workers. He also loves to fish, which is another reason we knew he would fit in well with our team. We’re happy to have you, Kyle!
