We have big news to share! Sain Associates is excited to announce the formation of a company ownership program designed to expand company ownership opportunities to three key levels: associate, principal, and senior principal. With this new program, we added three new associates — Nathan Currie, Paul Gilliam, and Jeff Stephenson.

Nathan Currie, P.E., is a Project Manager for the Sain Infrastructure Team and joined Sain Associates in 2016. He is primarily engaged in managing roadway design and roundabout design projects. Paul Gilliam, P.E., PTOE, is a Senior Project Manager for the Sain Traffic Team and a licensed Professional Engineer in five states. He joined Sain Associates in 2018 and leads Sain’s transportation planning practice. Jeff Stephenson, P.E., PTOE, is Team Leader for the Sain Traffic Team and actively involved in the Institute of Transportation Engineers at the Section and District levels, having served as president of the Alabama Section in 2015. He will celebrate his 23rd anniversary with Sain Associates in August 2021.

This exciting announcement is the first of many with this new program and displays our ongoing commitment to leadership and ownership growth within our organization. Our firm continues to focus on serving an ever-changing industry and strives to provide unparalleled expertise to our clients and partners to continue to be recognized as one of the top engineering firms in the Southeast.

The leadership of Currie, Gilliam, and Stephenson has resulted in the growth of Sain Associates as a company, the expansion of partnership opportunities as well as excellence in client service, all of which remain pillars of the company’s long-term strategic plan.
