Sain Associates Welcomes Brandon Kennedy as Graduate Design Engineer

Sain Associates is proud to welcome Brandon Kennedy as graduate design engineer. In his new position within our Traffic Department, Brandon will be responsible for handling traffic signal design, signal timing projects and traffic studies, among other assignments.

Cahaba Road Project Wins Engineering Excellence Award

For many months, Sain Associates provided civil engineering design services to the City of Birmingham’s Cahaba Road transportation enhancement project that was completed and opened last summer. The project included a new roundabout, landscaping and elements to better tie together the Birmingham Zoo to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Due to the hard work of many, the project was a great success that has received a lot of positive feedback.

A few weeks ago, Sain Associates Principal/Owner, Joe Meads, wrote a blog post that was inspired by his daughter’s first college essay. In the essay and the blog, Joe answered three questions that explored his career path to help him determine what he wishes he had known at the start of the journey.
